Exploring Cairo
Using Canva, we put together a fun and interactive presentation. We introduced landmarks like the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx, adding 3D objects and videos to give students a virtual sense of being there. We asked questions like, “How do you think the ancient Egyptians transported those massive stones?” and “What feelings do you think the Sphinx inspired back then?” Our aim was to keep students engaged and make them think creatively.
We also featured the Egyptian Museum, where King Tutankhamun’s treasures took center stage. To top it all off, we brought Cairo’s taste to life by including traditional foods like shawarma, falafel, and hummus (and yes, we made sure to ask which one they’d want to try first!).
After finalizing our work, we got peer feedback that helped us make everything even better. We improved our instructions and added more interactive elements, making the experience even more exciting for students.
This project was such a great experience—not only because we learned about Cairo but also because we create something meaningful. I’m so satisfied of what we achieved together!
Here is our final work.
