My Experience of Creating an Infographic
Hey everyone, I'm excited to share my experience of creating an infographic about cyberbullying. In today's digital age, cyberbullying has become an important issue, especially among young individuals. As teacher candidates, it is our responsibility to educate our students about the dangers and consequences of cyberbullying, and how to prevent it. For my Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language class, I was tasked to create an infographic about cyberbullying.
The design process had
its ups and downs. I used Piktochart, which made things a lot easier with its
user-friendly interface. Color schemes, fonts, and icons played a big role in
making the infographic. I found lots of information on cyberbullying.org. However, putting a large amount of information into an
organized and visually appealing design was challenging. So I chose some topics
and wrote enough (for me) information about those topics.
I believe that infographics are extremely beneficial
in the English classroom. Students can profit in a variety of ways. First of
all, it's a unique approach to learning. Instead of typical essays or reports,
infographics enable students to present their learning in a visually appealing
style.
Infographics have the potential to make a significant
difference in the English classroom by providing visuals to enhance students'
understanding. I think, infographics can allow students to learn complicated
concepts in a more memorizable and visually appealing way, and make it easier
for them to remember information. I also think that, making infographics can
help students enhance their critical thinking skills because they have to
analyze material thoroughly.
